God's Word

My church has new Sunday School material for our children from Answers in Gensis. It is awesome right now they are learning how God word is perfect, pure and is the truth. Today we learned it is complete and dhow we can't take away from it or add to it. We showed them that a puzzle is not complete unless we have all the pieces and that it isn't complete with just one piece missing. We have a tendcy to take pieces from God's word to fit it into our lives. Maybe, we need to stop and take God's complete word and apply it to our lives. I know I will be praying this week for me to just that. I hope you will join me.

SPLISH Splash

My new book is about Shelby who was excited about going to the park with her friends but was disappointed to find out it was raining when she woke up that day. She soon there are other fun things to do in the rain like play in the puddles. She had fun and was excited because this is the day the Lord has made rejoice and be Glad in it. Even when things don't go our way we still should give glory to God because he made the day. This is what this verse tells us in Psalms. I hope you all enjoy my latest soon coming to Amazon and hopefully to a store near you.

Review of Psalms and Prayers for Little Ones by Allia Zobel Nolan

I had the opportunity to review this lovely book for children. It is perfect to use as a devotional to start teaching your little ones the importance of a personal relationship with God. The author simplified each Psalm for children to understand. I plan on reading the Psalm out of the Bible then read it from this book for better understanding with children. The illustrators made beautiful illustrations that depict each Psalm. I plan on using this book with my Sunday School class. I highly recommend this book for your personal or church's libraries. I hope you all enjoy this book as much as I enjoy this book. This book is available at Amazon.com.

Puzzle

Earlier this evening, I was working on a puzzle with my children. It got me thinking how each one is shaped different and will only fit in its one special place. God made us all different. Just like each puzzle piece has a special place in the puzzle, God has a special place waiting for us. All we have to do is accept it, and it can be ours. Jesus came to earth to be that one piece that fits us to God when he died on the cross for our sins. I pray today that you will accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior so your puzzle will be complete.

Enjoy the little things.

As school approaches for students across the world, the one thing we should teach them all is not to take the little things for granted. It's the little things that we should enjoy rather it's talking to a neighbor or eating a donut with your kids. Life is too short. We have a tendency too to let the little things bother us. If your daughter wakes up and wants to wear boots with her pajamas let her she is creating her own style and it's not worth getting so upset about it. At work, home or at school when things just don't go your way remember this is the day The Lord has made and we should rejoice and be glad in it. In my latest book I teach children disappointing things does happen but there is a bright side to everything. Again, rejoice in the day that The Lord has made. I hope you enjoy my latest book Splish Splash when it is released.

Love

Love is patient, love is kind. Love does not envy, is not boastful, is not conceited, does not act improperly, is not selfish, is not provoked, and does not keep a record of wrongs. Love finds no joy in unrighteousness but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. But as for prophecies, they will come to an end; as for languages, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will come to an end. (1 Corinthians 13:4-8 HCSB)

God gave us the definition for love. He talks about love through out the New Testement and he shows an example of true love by sending his son to die on the cross for us. Yes us, no matter your skin color, how much money and yes how you choose to live your life ( this I have to remind myself) he died for us...from reading another blog today God has given us all a purpose in life and for some of our love ones their purpose is fulfilled and God needs them in heaven. God took my mom home at the age of 64...I always dream that my mom would be there when my two kids get married but that didn't happen. I have faith that her purpose her on Earth was fulfilled after all she raised three amazing children gave me the guidance to raise my two children...most of all she showed me love just like God has showed us. She gave up a lot for us kids... I now understand why my mom didn't have a lot of nice clothes while we were growing up. She always made sure we had ours first and I am now the same way with Braden and Makenzie. I have been thinking about my purpose.. What God wants me to do with my life...I've been thinking a lot about what God wants all to do...go out and spread the word about him and his love....that when I decided I wanted to write children books about God and his teachings to all the children... Please be in prayer with me as journey in becoming a better writer for The Lord...

Thanks for reading.

My reflections

I get caught up in my life that I forget to praise God each day for allowing me to get up. This is so simple and it only takes a minute of my time to thank him. I am so quick to go to him when I am in need but he wants to hear from me when nothing is going on in my life. He loves to hear our laughs along with our crys. I am learning that I need more of him in my life. I admit it here that I need God to be a part of my life. If you want to be part of my journey to be closer to God please follow my blog. I will be finding verses and stating what they mean to me. I hope you enjoy this latest blog.. And my books..
